Elevated Modern Exteriors: Inspiring limewash paint colours for outdoor spaces in sunny climates

With nearly 400 colors of limewash paint, the possibilities are endless. Each hue is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, seamlessly adapting to various exterior surfaces like brick, render, stone, and concrete. Our paint's natural pigments and unique ability to patina ensure that it blends harmoniously with the building's natural surroundings, making it the perfect choice for exterior applications.
Our Creative Director and Co-Founder, Bronwyn, has a penchant for earthy tones like umber and ochre when it comes to exterior design, particularly in warm climes. “Transforming a home into a sanctuary, enveloped by the colours of nature, is a matter very close to our hearts,” she expresses. Alternatively, to capture that Mediterranean Greek island look, a crisp white offers a contemporary finish. To demonstrate the versatility of these colors we’ve curated some exterior inspiration for modern properties in sunny locales.

"I love an exterior in a dirty peachy pink tone like ‘Medlar’ surrounded by sunset and sea, it reminds me of life in Fremantle, Australia."

The reason limewash paint is such a good choice for the health of both the building and the environment, is due to the way the limewash paint reacts with the surface. Conventional acrylic paints sit on top of the surface, like a film, whereas limewash paint is absorbed into the surface. This allows the walls to breathe, which significantly reduces blistering and peeling.

Limewash paint can be applied to any natural masonry exterior surface without the use of primers or sealers. In addition, our colours are rigorously tested for UV resistance, making them suitable for harsh climates like the Middle East and Australia, where intense sunlight and extreme temperatures can put extra demands on paint. Your exterior paint job will retain its vibrancy without fading.
