Metal Surface Guide
No, Bauwerk Limewash Paint is not recommended for use on metal surfaces for regular uses.
However, we know that historically white lime wash was used to add a heat reflective surface on corrugated metal roofs by the early settlers of Australia who lived int he hot and arid desert areas.
Also, it was used to 'age' metal gutters for film productions and similar theatre sets, as it is adding an aged appearance without any gloss level.
With any application of lime wash paint (for whatever purpose) to a metal surface the metal must be made oil free and might need a light sand. Apply thinly and if needed a second time.
We don't warrant the performance of limewash paint on metal surfaces - please do your own tests and see if it fits your purpose.
