Colour Card Box Set
A complete collection of over 350 hand-painted A6 Colour Cards, bringing together all five Bauwerk Limewash Colour Card Boxes in one comprehensive set.
The Full Colour Card Box Set includes one each of the
Neutral + White, Green, Blue + Grey, Sunset Tones, and Brown + Purple Colour Card Boxes, covering the complete Bauwerk Limewash Paint palette. From clean whites and soft neutrals to greens, blues and greys, warm sunset shades and deeper browns and purples, the set makes it easy to compare colours, undertones and tonal relationships across the entire range and see how they respond to the light and materials in your own space.
The Bauwerk Limewash Colour Palette
Bauwerk Limewash colours span from clean whites and pale shades through warm neutrals, greens, blues and greys, to blush, terracotta, ochre, brown, purple and deeper earthy tones. Made with natural pigments, the colours have subtle tonal variation, with their character shifting as light changes throughout the day.
Across the five palettes, Neutral + White moves from pale whites and soft stone shades into warmer neutrals; Green ranges from softened sage and olive to clearer and deeper greens; Blue + Grey brings together airy blue-greys, mineral greys and darker tones; Sunset Tones moves through blush, terracotta and ochre; while Brown + Purple explores clay, bark, mauve and deeper shades.
Exploring the Full Colour Box Set
Use the loose Colour Cards to compare subtle differences in tone and undertone, explore combinations across the complete Bauwerk palette and see how colours sit alongside the materials already in your space. Move them around the room and view them in changing light to see how each colour responds throughout the day.
With all five Colour Card Boxes to hand, you can compare warmer and cooler alternatives, explore colours outside your initial direction and gradually narrow the full range to a considered shortlist before testing your final colours with Sample Pots.

Choosing Limewash Colours
BAUWERK Colours are made differently, using natural pigments sourced from around the world to create nuanced colours with subtle tonal variation. Limewash also interacts with light differently from conventional paint: its calcium carbonate base forms a crystalline mineral surface that refracts light, giving Bauwerk Limewash its characteristic depth and movement...a paint that glows like no other.
When viewing your Colour Cards, hold them vertically against the wall as this can affect how light hits the surface and therefore how you see the colour. It's best to assess your colours in the location you intend to paint. Changing light throughout the day, as well as whether the space is inside or outside, can significantly influence how a colour appears.
Once you've narrowed your selection, we recommend testing your chosen colours with Sample Pots on the intended surface or a test panel before making your final choice.
